The Pentru Moldova Parliamentary Group and the Shor Party continue to support the nomination of former Finance Minister Mariana Durlesteanu for the post of Prime Minister. This is stated in the message of the parliamentary group, published on February 24. According to the representatives of the platform, Durlesteanu is "known as a professional in the financial sphere, an experienced negotiator and diplomat who can find solutions to overcome the crisis and enlist the support of Moldova's external partners." At the same time, Pentru Moldova and the Shor Party condemned the statements of President Maia Sandu on the decision of the Constitutional Court (CC). As stated in the parliamentary group, Sandu's actions "will lead the country into a state of prolonged political crisis with extremely serious consequences, especially in the current conditions." Nevertheless, Pentru Moldova stated that they are in favor of holding early parliamentary elections, but only after the election of a full-fledged government, "which will be able to effectively govern the state during and after the election campaign, until a new cabinet is appointed." Recall that the Constitutional Court recognized unconstitutional Sandu's decree on nominating Gavrilitsa for Prime Minister. The court also ruled that the president and parliamentary factions need to hold new consultations. Commenting on the Constitutional Court decision, Maia Sandu said that in early elections or in a referendum, the people will decide the fate of the country. Recall, on February 11 PSRM headed by Igor Dodon announced that they were proposing to nominate former Minister of Finance Mariana Durleshteanu for the post of Prime Minister. A new coalition will be created to confirm her candidacy in parliament. It will include 54 deputies. Among them are deputies from the PSRM, the Shor party, the Pentru Moldova group, and independent deputies, answering journalists' questions, said that she did not know that the deputies from the Shor party would support her candidacy. But then she published a post in which she wrote that potential candidates are not required to check the list of deputies who signed for them. Later, on the social network Durleshteanu wrote about a possible financial collapse due to the lack of a full-fledged government and called on President Maia Sandu not to disappoint the citizens who voted for her in the presidential elections, and to establish a dialogue with all parliamentary factions to overcome the situation.
