The invitation to the event is a kind of political signal of support for Ukraine during the escalation of the Russian Federation.
Ukraine, together with Georgia, was invited for the first time to take part in NATO's eastern flank, which includes Romania, Poland and Turkey. The event will discuss, in particular, the strengthening of security and stability in the region. This
announced Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
"This is not just an invitation. It is a political signal and concrete action to support Ukraine at a difficult moment," the minister wrote on Facebook.
He noted that he was going to meet with the foreign ministers of Romania, Poland, Turkey against the background of the aggressive behavior of the Russian Federation and its growing militarization in Crimea.
According to Kuleba, talks will touch upon both political and trade relations between the countries, as well as the Euro-Atlantic prospects of Ukraine and Georgia and the strengthening of NATO's presence in the region.
