The deputies of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists called on the majority of PAS to exclude from the agenda of the parliamentary session a bill providing for a retirement age increase. This was stated by the Socialist deputy Vladimir Odnostalco, but the PAS deputies refused to support the initiative, reports noi.md “This project was not discussed, the opinion of NGOs, trade unions, organizations that represent the interests of older people was not heard. In this context, and also since the authors did not have convincing arguments regarding raising the retirement age, we urge to exclude this bill from the agenda,” Odnostalco said. The majority of PAS voted in the first reading to increase the retirement age up to 63 years for men and women.
