Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu commented on the heating season preparations amid the unclear situation with gas supplies to our country. Spinu published a photo with the first batch of fuel oil that arrived in our country to replenish the state reserve. “We are preparing for the winter. Fuel oil deliveries is underway. Today, the first oil tankers arrived to replenish the state reserve. I thank the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Railways of Moldova, Termoelectrica and the Material Reserve Agency for their work,” Spinu wrote in his Telegram channel. Note the head of state Maia Sandu said that the authorities have no confidence that Gazprom will fulfill the contract. Yet, she assured that citizens would be supported by the government, just as it was last winter. Earlier, the authorities said they would compensate the population for gas bills, provide firewood to those who use this fuel, and switch Chisinau’s heating system to fuel oil. Point
