At a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Bucharest, Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu once again urged Ukraine to officially recognize the Moldovan language as nonexistent. This is reported by the Romanian Foreign Ministry, reports rupor.md. At a bilateral meeting within the NATO summit in Bucharest, Aurescu also mentioned the launch of a trilateral meeting of Romania-Moldova-Ukraine at the level of Foreign Ministers, with the participation of energy ministers and representatives of energy companies, in Odesa in September. It is noted that the officials have agreed to hold another such trilateral meeting in the future. The issue of “Moldovan language” was raised by Aurescu back in April 2021. At that time Kuleba “confirmed the identity of the Romanian language and the so-called ‘Moldovan language’”. Point
