Moldova and the United States will sign the Open Skies Agreement on May 18 in Chisinau.
According to the US Embassy in Moldova, the agreement will be signed by US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard R. Verma and Moldovan Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Lilia Dabija.
The American embassy in Chisinau notes that the Open Skies Agreement symbolizes the first step in the liberalization of air traffic between our two countries. “Together we are strengthening bilateral trade and economic ties. This is a strong signal of our support for Moldova’s further path towards creating a more open and transparent business environment,’ the US Embassy in Moldova said.
