An Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) MP, Galina Sajin, decided to give up her mandate. The parliamentary secretariat has already published a draft decision on her resignation.
According to Sajin’s statement, she decided to surrender the mandate for personal reasons.
“I have tendered my resignation due to personal circumstances that do not allow me to fulfil my duties,” the elected woman told TV8.
Another PAS representative will take Galina Sajin’s place in the Parliament.
Earlier, Speaker Igor Grosu proposed to hold an extraordinary parliamentary session in order to adopt a number of legislative acts that regulate integrity assessment in institutions, the justice reform, electoral legislation and political parties.
