The state-owned company said this while providing the electricity supply schedule for June. According to the forecast for June, the needs of consumers on the right bank of the Dniester will amount to about 334,613 MWh, infotag.md reports. According to the company, about 308,223 MWh will be purchased from Cuciurgan Power Station, while about 21,528 MWh will be generated by CHP and renewable sources. The remaining required volume, about 4862 MWh, will be purchased from OPCOM to cover, in particular, consumption during peak hours. In October 2023, Energocom JSC extended the electricity purchase contract with Cuciurgan Power Station until the end of 2024 at a price of USD 66 MWh.
