Vladimir Voronin: Moldova Is Dead

The PCRM leader made this statement during a discussion on the demographic situation in Moldova. The former president expressed concern that more people die in Moldova than are born, newtv.md reported. “Moldova is dead. That’s it. Last year 22 thousand children were born in Moldova, and 7 times more people died. In 2008, 118 thousand children were born in Moldova. Every day hundreds of people leave the country,” Vladimir Voronin said.
