Dodon Told about his Readiness for the Dialogue with Kyiv - Poroshenko

Moldovan President Igor Dodon recently expressed his readiness for the dialogue with Ukraine, stated President Petro Poroshenko at the meeting with heads of Ukrainian foreign diplomatic institutions, Ukrinform reports. “We cannot lose friends. But at the same time, we have no right to give up Ukrainian national interests. I hope our neighbors understand this either. By the way, the other day the Moldovan President stated about his readiness for the dialogue”, said Poroshenko and added that he has always supported such an opportunity. The head of the Ukrainian state also stressed that he was waiting for the appropriate firm position from the Moldovan side concerning the territorial integrity, independence of Ukraine, including Crimea. At the same time, Poroshenko said that Ukraine and Moldova have a very fruitful relationship at the intergovernmental level.
