Gazprom chose a route for gas supplies to Europe along the second line of the TurkStream through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia, Kommersant reports with reference to the data of gas transmission operators in these countries. The materials were published in October – November as part of the procedure for booking future capacity (open season). The procedure is stipulated by the legislation of the European Union (NC CAM) and is needed for the construction of new gas pipelines, the publication said. Gas will go to Bulgaria and Serbia since 2020, to Hungary - from 2021, to Slovakia - in the second half of 2022, the newspaper writes. In December, Bulgartransgaz plans to hold an auction for the future capacity of gas pipelines at the entrance to the Bulgarian system from Turkey and exit to Serbia. Hungary, Slovakia and Austria in October already held an auction for booking new capacities from October 2022 for seven years. Source: RBC
