The presidential election campaign in Ukraine starts on December, 31. This decision was made by the Central Election Commission of the country. Presidential elections are scheduled for March 31, 2019. Nomination and acceptance of documents from presidential candidates are to submit until February 3. By February 8, the Central Election Commission will complete the registration process and announce presidential contenders. If the elections to be recognized the results would be made public by April, 10. If none of the candidates gets more than 50 percent of the votes during the first round, the second one will be held on April, 21. In this case, the results will be made public on May, 1, and the inauguration will be scheduled for May, 31. According to polls, almost 21 percent of respondents are ready to vote for Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of Batkivshchyna party. The second place among potential candidates is the filmmaker and showman Volodymyr Zelensky. More than 13 percent of respondents are ready to vote for him.
