Presidential candidate, leader of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) Maia Sandu made sharp accusations against the head of state, saying that Igor Dodon was preparing 2 million euros to bribe voters in Transdniestria.
“Don't even try to steal the votes of citizens. There are more of us, we are stronger and we will defend ourselves in all ways. Dodon did not keep any of his campaign promises. We are receiving more and more signals about Igor Dodon's attempts to falsify these elections. We tell him to understand that his time has gone and the elections must be fair, ”she said at a press conference on Monday,
agora.md reported.
According to her, Dodon is trying to implement the schemes used in 2016, to interfere with the voting of citizens in the diaspora, and also resorts to documents and signatures forgery to open more polling stations in the East.
“This is a criminal case, and my colleagues will provide additional information in the coming days,” Sandu informed.
In this context, the PAS leader calls on all state institutions to mobilize and "prevent illegal actions of her opponent Igor Dodon."
The presidential administration has not yet commented on Sandu's statements.
