Today, on April 27, the Constitutional Court considered the request of MPs Sergiu Litvinenco and Dinu Plingau on the constitutionality of parliamentary decisions regarding the abolition of the decree on the appointment of a judge of the Constitutional Court and the nomination of a new judge of the Constitutional Court. The decision of the CC judges came after 30 minutes of discussion, declaring the decisions of the parliament adopted on 23 April unconstitutional. The decision of the Constitutional Court is final and not subject to appeal. Let us remind you that on April 23, the parliamentary majority of PSRM-Sor voted for the partial cancellation of the decree on the appointment of Domniсa Manole as a judge of the Constitutional Court. At the same time, former prosecutor Boris Lupascu was appointed to the post of judge of the Constitutional Court. On the same day, these decisions of the parliament were suspended by the decision of the Constitutional Court.
