Dorin Chirtoaca claims that the Unionist Movement, which is in the process of formation right now, can nominatee several candidates with the obligation to later retreat the rest in the favor of only one. Thus, in the election race will remain the one who will have the best results in the polls. The politician says that the strategy of this movement will be "not a single lost voice," ipn.md reports. “Meanwhile, we can have a common message, we can promote the parties of movement and have a better start for future parliamentary elections,” the politician said during the broadcast of Fabrika TV Show on Publika TV. He thinks, the split of unionists is part of the Russian Federation strategy, so it was proposed to strengthen this platform. “We proposed to form a Union Movement in the Republic of Moldova so that everyone can maintain his own identity, where no one encroaches on the identity of any other party or its further existence, but together we can have parliamentary and presidential representation even in the coming years. And in ten years we will certainly be able to talk about the majority (50-60%) in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, and perhaps we will be able to realize the unification in the next 10-20 years,” said the Liberal Party Head. The politician says that the strategy of the new movement will be "not a single lost voice." “Each vote given to the unionists will go to the common vote-collecting box for movement, and we will automatically have deputies in parliament, perhaps we will be able to have the president of the republic in a year if we manage to mobilize,” the leader of the liberals said. Dorin Chirtoaca believes that forming an electoral bloc of unionist forces, as suggested by the leader of the National Unity Party, Octavian Țîcu, is not a solution. According to him, it is necessary to have a Unionist Movement, as was the 1989 National Liberation Movement, and as was the 1917-1918 Liberation Movement. “Where we all, being part of this movement, will not try to reach the title of absolute leader, but will give each other place, we will promote each other in order to become stronger and get rid of the split,” the liberal said.
