PSRM will receive more than 12 million lei from the state budget in 2020

The Central Election Commission (CEC) established a monthly amount of subsidies from the state budget for 2020 for political parties. This amount is determined in accordance with the results obtained by parties in the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019, the general local elections of October 20, 2019 and the presidential election of October 30, 2016, unimedia.info writes. According to the decision of the CEC, PSRM will receive more than 12 million lei in 2020, followed by the Democratic Party - more than 7 million lei. The “Action and Solidarity” party, which will receive more than 6 million lei, got the third place in terms of total subsidies, followed by the PPDT - more than 4 million lei. In accordance with the provisions of the law, the amount of subsidies is distributed as follows: 30% - in proportion to the indicators obtained in the general local elections, 30% - in proportion to the indicators obtained in the general local elections, 15% - in proportion to the indicators obtained in the presidential election; 7.5% - in proportion to women actually elected in parliamentary elections; 7.5% - in proportion to women actually elected in local elections; 5% - in proportion to the youth actually elected in the parliamentary elections, and 5% - in proportion to the youth actually elected in the local elections. Subsidies allocated from the state budget will be monthly transferred to bank accounts opened for this purpose by political parties.
