The European Union is following the situation in Transdniestria with concern and calls for an end to any violent acts.
This was stated on Tuesday at a briefing in Brussels by the European Commission representative Eric Mamer, tass.ru reports.
"I don't have any special information that I can provide on the situation in Transdniestria. Of course, we are following with great concern all the developments related to the military actions in Ukraine and possible actions in the adjacent territories.
From the very beginning, we call for an end to any violent acts," he said, commenting on the explosions and shelling in Transdniestria which the authorities of the unrecognized republic classified as terrorist attacks.
