Prime Minister Munteanu Resigned

Alexandru Munteanu announced his decision to step down from his post on Facebook. “I accepted the offer to become Prime Minister with a great sense of responsibility and with the firm conviction that I would be able to help improve the situation. The moment I realized that I could no longer fulfil my mandate in accordance with the principles and convictions I hold dear, I decided to step down. I would like to thank all my colleagues – the ministers, their teams and the people who have worked professionally and conscientiously. I will continue to serve my country in whatever role I find myself in, regardless of where I live or the duties I perform – whether in the public or private sector. I believe that our duty to the country is not tied to a specific post, but to the commitment we uphold. Thank you!”, wrote Alexandru Munteanu.
