Home / Politics / Sandu: Munteanu Raised One Complaint, Concerning Relationship with Perciun
According to the Head of State, the outgoing Prime Minister, Alexandru Munteanu, never set any conditions regarding any reshuffles or the fight against corruption.
“There was only one complaint raised during our discussions, which concerned his personal relationship with one of the members of the government. I am referring to the Minister of Education and Research,” said the President.
Responding to a question from journalists as to whether this was a conflict, she urged them not to jump to conclusions.
“I am not in a position to comment on that,” added Maia Sandu.
Journalists asked Sandu whether it was true that Dan Perciun was the most likely candidate for Prime Minister. The President neither confirmed nor denied this information.
It should be recalled that Alexandru Munteanu announced the end of his term as Prime Minister after realizing that he could no longer fulfil his duties in accordance with his principles and convictions.
