The European Union Demanded from Zelensky to Return Huge Debts

European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement commissioner Johannes Khan told about two main challenges the new President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will face in the near future. The first overarching goal is payment of huge state debt: in 2019-2020, the country should repay the state debt that exceeds 30 % of the annual budget. The second goal to be solved is the expiration of the gas contract with Russia. It should be recalled that the national debt of Ukraine in March increased by 540 million dollars and makes 78.78 billion.
