The Verkhovna Rada refused to consider the draft law of Zelensky on changing the electoral legislation. According to the Ukrainian President, the lawmakers try again worm themselves into the Parliament President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky urged people of Ukraine not to support the “old statesman” in early elections to the Verkhovna Rada. This was his reaction to the refusal of the Rada to consider his bill on parliamentary elections. The document was to change the electoral system and reduce the barrier for parties. “The old politicians chose the old system because only it gives them a chance to extend their political life”, Zelensky wrote in his Facebook, noting that the Rada failed the bill to change the electoral legislation. According to him, MPs are mistaken if they intend to worm themselves to the Parliament handing out the food to the people.  The head of state urged Ukrainians to choose politicians who can change the country not in words but in deed.
