The head of the Republic said this on Friday on his page of facebook after the meeting with the mediators and observers who visited Chisinau to intensify the dialogue. “I expressed hope that the joint efforts of mediators and observers will open the prospects for holding a meeting in the 5+2 negotiation format,  “the politician said. He highlighted three main priorities for the settlement for the coming period.”
  1. Human rights and democratization of Transnistria, ensuring the free movement of people, goods and services throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova. 2. Restoration of the common trade and economic space of the Republic of Moldova.
  2. Creation of preconditions for the renewal of negotiations on a political settlement of the Transnistrian problem in 2020,” Dodon wrote.
The negotiation process was stalled due to the campaign for elections to the Parliament of Moldova at the beginning of the year, which led to a change of power in the Republic. TASS
