Lavrov: There Are Prospects of Normalization in Relations between Russia and Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on the prisoners swap with Ukraine, pointing out the emerging prospect of normalizing relations between the countries, RBC reports. “We all expressed satisfaction with the exchange of prisoners in the 35-for-35 format,” Lavrov said. “This allows us to expect that in parallel with the settlement of the situation in the Donbas, Russian-Ukrainian relations to be normalize, and those unilateral anti-Russian decisions made by the Poroshenko regime to be recalled,” Lavrov added.
