Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Dmytro Kuleba said that he was not going to force NATO closed doors, Interfax-Ukraine reported on September 10. “I believe that both in relations with NATO and in relations with the EU it is necessary to reach the level when we will become indispensable for them. We should not stand near the doors and force closed doors and beg to accept us. We should act to let them understand that they are weaker without us”, –told Kuleba reporters, answering whether Ukraine raises the issue to proceed to NATO Membership Action Plan. Kuleba added that during the visit to the NATO headquarters, it was decided to “intensify the work of the joint working group on Ukraine-NATO military reform.” Deputy Prime Minister noted that this is the main format of Ukraine-NATO interaction.
