Lukashenko: Conflict in Ukraine cannot be Resolved without the U.S. Involvement

The President of Belarus believes that for successful negotiations it is necessary to invite new negotiators. The United States could help resolve the conflict in Ukraine, said Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale in Minsk on 17 September, TASS reports. “As for problems of Europe, especially Eastern Europe, Ukraine in particular, I firmly believe that at present this conflict cannot be resolved without the U.S. involvement,” the Belarusian leader said.
