According to him, “the United States, the European Union, Ukraine remain fully involved in our efforts to resolve such complex issues.” “The process of disposing should be carried out only on the basis of the existing format of interaction with external partners (5 + 2 format), taking into account bilateral relations of Moldova and the Russian Federation and with the OSCE mediation. Because the process of disposing refers not only to Moldovan-Russian relations, and can only be carried out with the involvement of other partners to ensure zero problems in the future,” the diplomat emphasized. He noted that during his recent visit to Moscow “he confirmed the impossibility of considering the issue of federalizing the Republic of Moldova and returning to the Kozak Memorandum from 15 years ago.” As for the use of Russian language in Moldova, the head of the MFAEI noted that “there are no problems with the Russian language in the RM”. “This applies to the level of everyday communication, to the work of Russian-language media, and to the functioning of schools. We do not believe that the Russian language faces any problems on the territory of Moldova,” said the diplomat.
