Dodon: Direct Presidential Elections Will Take Place

This statement was made by Moldovan President Igor Dodon in the “Mekhanism Deistvia” (“Mechanism of Action”) program on NTV, reports enews.md. “Presidential elections will be held in October-November next year. Elections will be direct. Various wise heads provoked us, including PDM leaders. Let’s change the Constitution, collect 60-70 votes, it was a provocation. Everyone understands that socialists cannot speak for presidential elections in the parliament. We have always stood for the nation-wide elections.
