The group of experts from Rospotrebnadzor will check this week several Moldovan wine-making companies for a possible marketing of natively made wine products. "The wine companies of the Republic of Moldova have the production potential for a wider market, so Rospotrebnadzor experts will appreciate the export potential to the Russian Federation," explained Vladislav Cotici, Director General of the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA), moldpres.md reports According to him, the parties will exchange views on the new provisions of national legislation in this area. "We will coordinate the procedures to ensure quality control and safety of wine products that will facilitate the export of goods from Moldova to the Russian Federation," the head of ANSA said. This week, experts from Rospotrebnadzor will inspect six Moldovan wine companies in the context of studying the expansion of the list of companies approved for export to the Russian market. Currently, there are 23 wineries in the Republic of Moldova that can export their products to the Russian Federation.
