This stated the Democrat MP Monica Babuc in the program "Friday" on channel RTR Moldova, tv8.md reports. “The Democratic Party will have its own candidate in the presidential election. I can’t say for sure that Pavel Filip will run for this election, but I can say that he shows excellent results in public opinion polls. Taking this into account, I can say that he gets the first place in the list of candidates for presidential election,” Monica Babuc said. The President of the Republic of Moldova is elected by citizens for a four-year term. The upcoming presidential election will be held this fall.
