President-elect Maia Sandu and Our Party leader Renato Usatii called on citizens to protest in front of the parliament building today. The dissatisfaction of politicians was caused by the bill the socialists introduced, which provides for the removal of the Information and Security Service (ISS) from the president subordination. Maia Sandu sees this initiative as an attempt to limit her powers,  unimedia.info reported. People who came to the protest today put on masks and try to maintain social distance. “Down with the corrupt ones. They are trying to divide us with bills. The country is ours, and we will go to the end,” Oazu Nantoi, a PDS deputy, said to the audience. “Leave power,” shouted PDS deputy Vladimir Bolea, who was supported by the protesters. “Today is a historic day, because we came here to say that the people support the elected president. Down with corruption. Down with this parliament, which wants to remove the president from the levers,” Bolea said.
