The Prosecutor General's Office Will Urgently Consider the PDS Appeal on Power Usurpation

The Prosecutor General's Office received an appeal from MPs Sergiu Litvinenco and Virgilu Paslariuc with a request to consider the alleged acts of usurpation of state power and bring the perpetrators to justice. The appeal to the department was filed as a result of events and decisions adopted on April 23, 2021 by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in relation to the Constitutional Court, the department said in a press release. According to the form and content criteria, deputies’ appeal was duly registered and sent General Prosecutor's Office for consideration. Taking into account the social resonance of facts that was made public, the prosecutor's office will consider this case as a matter of priority and urgence and will propose a legal solution to it.
