The analysis of the materials from the Pandora Papers investigation by Rise Moldova shows that the oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc was connected with the metal market in Moldova since the days of the communist government receiving enormous profits.
In its material, Rise Moldova refers to the companies of Serghei Noskov, a key figure in Vladimir Plahotniuc's entourage associated with the Moldovan metal market, cotidianul.md reports.
Noskov is the one who for a long time ran several Plahotniuc's enterprises, including Nobil Club SRL, which owns the Nobil Hotel. He also owned a luxurious building in the center of the capital, where the DPM headquarters was located.
According to the investigation, Noskov managed the Travis Group, registered in the British Virgin Islands. In 2008-2009, Travis Group partner, Cypriot company Panfermag, made a profit of $ 53 million on sales of over half a billion dollars.
It should be noted that in June this year, the former director of Metalferos, Victor Ostap, estimated that this company was robbed for at least half a billion dollars, and the final recipient of the money was a group headed by Vladimir Plahotniuc.
